Dear New Forest Ramblers member,

My name is Christine Witcher and I am the new Footpath secretary for the New Forest Ramblers. In the past the New Forest Ramblers have helped monitor the Public Rights of Way (PROW) in the 18 parishes covered by our area. They reported any problems found to Hampshire County Council who are responsible for keeping the PROW open so people like ourselves can enjoy walking in the countryside. Unfortunately due to a number of problems over the past few years this has slowly stopped happening. I am now looking for people who are able to walk some footpaths to monitor for any problems on those paths. You can do as few or as many paths as you feel able to do, you do not need to take on a whole Parish.
