# Lift sharing

We encourage lift sharing to walks. It is good company on the journey, better for the environment, and it eases pressure on the car parks. Published walk details typically ask walkers to share lifts where they can.

## How it works

#### Walks in the forest

For walks in the forest area this is best done privately with fellow walkers, so the leader does not have to organise it.

#### Longer walks further afield

Leaders can advertise a lift-share meeting from Morrisons, West Totton and Oak Road, Dibden Purlieu. The walks coordinator can advise on pick-up times used before. Oak Road leaves 20 minutes earlier than Morrisons.
