Deerleap figure 8 walk with 5 or 9.7 mile options

Figure of eight walk starts from Deerleap car park Map OL22 Grid Ref SU 353095 : The first five miles will be walking through Longdown and Deerleap inclosures going through ancient woodland, tall pine trees,  and open heath, total 5 miles then back to Deerleap car park.  We will have a picnic lunch at the car park and after lunch those who wish to complete the 9.7 miles will walk an extra 4.7 miles around Longdown inclosure crossing open heathland which provides lovely views of the New Forest. No stiles. Please wear suitable walking boots or wellingtons.  Please bring plenty of water to drink if the weather is hot. Coffee break late morning.  Picnic lunch at Deerleap car park.
