Lyndhurst, 10 mile walk with optional half length walk

Circular Lyndhurst – Brockenhurst walk with the option of a half length Lyndhurst – Brockenhurst linear walk by using the bus.
Walks start at Bolton's Bench Forestry England car park  These walks links two of the New Forest’s main villages – Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst - traversing ancient woodlands, heathlands, New Park Plantation, Hollands Wood, and Pondhead Inclosure. There will be a need to cross the A337 in 30 mph zones and a short walk single file on a pavement.  The  walk is primarily on gravel paths.  Please wear suitable walking boots or wellingtons.  Coffee break mid morning and a lunch break Leader Helen Mob 07546 996416
